I'm glad I took my time, read reviews, and researched before buying leather care products for my new Lucchese boots. The result is that I bought this kit, and now possess the best leather care products I've ever found. My boots were new, so I didn't use the straight cleaner on them as I gather this product is for dirty old leather. Instead, I used the liniment #1 to do a light cleaning and to get some good oils in to the leather after some time on the shelf at Alan's boots in Austin (great place, if you're in town). Then I applied the water protectant #3, to keep them looking good in the monsoon season here in Arizona. The end result was amazing. Inevitably I had managed to already scuff the boots just in the few weeks I'd been wearing them, and after applying the liniment they were gone to the naked eye. The leather became immediately more supple and has stayed so far several months even though I haven't found the time to reapply yet. Next I'm going to try this stuff out, including the #2 straight cleaner, on my car's seats. I'm sure they'll look and feel great afterwards. I'm already a loyal customer, just after one purchase. This set of leather care products stays handy when I need to clean my leather products. The #3 leather protector basically made my leatherbag waterproof. Water beads up and rolls off. Great for rainy Seattle days. Would recommend keeping a set handy.

I recently invested in some nice leather boots and knew I wanted to take care of them properly so they will last me a long time! I ended up going with this set since it had anything I thought I would need. The cleaner worked fine- I hadn't had to boots long, but I was surprised to see some dirt on the cloth when I cleaned them. Then I used the waterproofing formula on my boots. They were brown and they definitely darkened quite a bit when I initially applied. However, as time went on it seems to have soaked in and is close to the original color. They are still darker, which I don't mind- they look nicer and sharper than before and I'm more worried about my boots holding up over the long run. It also happened to rain the day after I waterproofed my boots and I was very happy to see that it kept my boots protected! I'm also happy with the ingredients that this is a gentle, more natural product. I'm sensitive to strong scents and this one doesn't have one, so I was really glad about that too. I know I will find other uses for this and am planning to try the formula #1 for my leather couches that could use some TLC.

I purchased #1 and #2 to use on my Saddleback Leather bags that I have had for about 2 years. I was thrilled with the results and have also used the products on a 10year old pair of boots and a hat that have seen more than their fair share of rough treatment and extreme conditions. Everything has turned out looking refreshed and clean, and, in some cases, returning to like new condition. A subtle almond-like scent left my items smelling great too. Chamberlain's followed up with me shortly after I received my order and displayed excellent customer service; cementing my satisfaction with both company and product.
