I have been purchasing Saddleback leather goods throughout the year now and got turned on to Chamberlains Leather Milk through them. I bought the #1 to clean and condition my leather, as well as my car seats and wallet and whatnot. I bought the #3 for a duffel bag that I bought that came to me rather dull and lifeless and wanted to make sure that it was protected from the elements because I was heading into Colorado for a trip. This stuff is great. I protected the bag very well. Wiped it on (went on easy) and let it sit overnight. Came back to it and wiped off the residue (because when it dries it can leave a residue in areas where you glob it on and don’t spread it evenly). After that I buffed it some and the leather looks great. As a test, I poured a glass of water over the bag and the water just ran right off and never bothered the leather. I’m really happy with this stuff. I can see it being used for nice bags that are exposed to the outdoor elements in bad climates and nice leather shoes/boots. Thanks Chamberlain’s!

I got a beautiful black leather coat for my birthday. I live in the Seattle area so needless to say I didn’t feel comfy wearing it out in our Winter/Spring weather. That is until I got this! I’m hyper-sensitive to smell and it had a very pleasant odor while applying the product. Once it dried, there was no smell – just the wonderful new leather smell of the jacket. And it blended perfectly. In fact it made it a little softer and a little more even toned. It was easy to use and I have since tested it in some of our rain storms. Zero staining and the water just ran right off. I highly recommend this.

Absolutely love the product. It truly is the best leather protectant/conditioner around! It did darken my saddleback tote a little, so be prepared. But, I actually love the way the leather looks and the protection this products delivers. I am very happy.

I used this on a Mission recliner with leather cushions that were neglected for 10 years. I have never seen anything restore leather like this before. The cushions do not look like new (that would be silly) but they no longer look like they were rode hard and put away wet. They look acceptable now and will not have to be immediately replaced. I just reordered to process the rest of my leather items.

Great product! Very effective, and easy to apply. Soaked right in to my leather boots with no extra mess and dried well overnight.

Bought this because of all the great reviews listed… and they’re all correct. Chamberlains is easy to use, smells decent and works wonderfully. Now all my boots and bags look brand spankin’ new. I think this might have to be THE stocking stuffer for my family and friends this year…

The product does a very good job protecting the leather against water and I would certainly purchase this product again.

I recently bought a really nice pair of boots and wanted something that would protect them. I picked up both No 1 to clean my boots and No. 3 to waterproof them. I admit, I balked a little at the price at first, but I am really very happy with the quality of both products. It was money well-spent. My boots still look great, and I used the Milk on my favorite pair of Fluevog shoes recently as well. It cleaned them up nicely and now I don’t have to worry about wearing them in Oregon’s rainy weather!

I bought the No.3 because I needed to protect my Saddleback satchel while traveling around Japan during their rainy season. The bottle arrived with a pad to apply the protectant on to the bag.

Having read reviews of the product, I expected the formula to darken my chestnut colored satchel but I did not see any difference in color after applying the product. The formula worked perfectly to protect my bag against water. I poured some water on top of my bag after letting it sit overnight and the water beaded up on the bag instead of getting absorbed into the leather.

I’m super happy with this product and recommend it to anyone who wants to make their leather water resistant.

I got this item for my Saddleback leather briefcase. It has worked well and only slightly darkened my chestnut colored bag. This is also a conditioner so that’s nice and really makes the leather great. Definitely recommend Chamberlain’s products.

I have used this, along with the Conditioner No. 1, on a variety of old and new leather handbags and shoes. The conditioner keeps the leather supple, or in the case of some of my older shoe and handbags, restored the leather to the intended buttery-soft condition. I always follow the treatment with the water protectant to keep my shoes and handbags in the best possible condition.

I just treated a pair of my husband’s well-loved leather shoes and he was amazed by how great the conditioner and protectant made them look.

I used No 1 on my shoes and a well worn leather coat and the results were excellent. I used No 3 to keep the early morning water off my golf shoes (I walk the course) and again the results have been excellent. No harsh odor or chemicals. I used waterproofing sprays in the past and I think my lungs were what got waterproofed. very easy to apply.

My Saddleback Leather bag absolutely LOVES this stuff. The leather looks great and feels perfectly conditioned, and water just rolls right off. I feel better having this stuff on my bag at all times. Also goes great on my nice leather shoes:)

Not too thick, not too thin. Might require reapplication more often than other brands but its not hard to do. Does darken the leather but that doesn’t seem to last.

I have used water protectants in the past on a favorite leather purse that flat out didn’t work all that well. I ordered the Chamberlain’s protectant (along with the cleaner and conditioner) and this stuff works amazing! It did darken my tawny-brown colored purse just a bit, but not enough that I mind. The day after applying the protectant, I had to test it of course by dripping water onto the purse — the water beaded and I was able to wipe it with no water spots left behind. Unlike other protectants I’ve used, the day after the Chamberlain’s was applied, there is only the smallest bit of a slight waxy feeling left on the leather (and others I’ve used were SO waxy). I’m etremely please with ALL the Chamberlain leather products and wish I’d found them sooner!

First off, I am familiar with the Chamberlain product through the recommendation of Saddleback Leather. I have used their No. 1 conditioner with great success on Saddleback products to keep them looking new!

This winter seemed to be particularly hard on my leather boots. The water salt mixture that is so carelessly sprayed on sidewalks to make them passable dried out my boots and left them with ugly salt stains. Being familiar with Chamberlain’s No. 1 formula, I decided to give No. 3 a try. I applied it like I did their other products; first by cleaning and drying the boot and then by thoroughly applying the liquid with the included applicator. The formula got its first test today as a surprise snow storm hit Paris! I was able to blow through the slush and water on the streets with this formula applied to my boots without my feet getting damp. In fact, the water seemed to merely roll off the toe and midsection of my boot!

All in all, I am satisfied with this product and may even consider using it on my Saddleback products.
